I rebuilt my top end with cylinders from Jr, I think he said to use mineral oil the first 20 hrs but can't remember. Any thoughts?
 
mwood i ran mineral for 50 hrs. in my chrome cyl. 520 cont. it won't hurt to run mineral longer but you don't want to switch over to ashless to soon.
