How much do those mini airboats cost? My brother just sold his mud boat because all the sand on the Withlacoochie kept eating props and the mud boat dont work in sand anyhow worth a flip. He runs/hunts the river all the time. Is this something he would be happy with? does it run dry ground at all? Thanks

really impressed chuck think theres a definate market for them little rascals, only problem is them dadgum flags they just look way to big on them little tiny airboats youll have to loby the state for small flags on minis :D its not been a year since someone said mini, man you sure steped up to the plate chuck 8)

Home run with the bases loaded, Chuck. Awesome little airboats, sir.

Dave, those big flags probably scrub off at least 2 mph.

Little Boats looked like they were doing real good, when you want some Professional pictures done of them let me know

Are you kidding me that was way tooo cool, just viewed the video, got my adreneline pumping. With Gas prices getting higher with no limit insight. You could Afford to go Froggin,Fishing, Duck Hunting or just Crusing!
The mini might just be another option for many to enjoy the Great Outdoors.

The Quality of the Video is very high on the original Disc, but uploading a 469 meg
file that took almost 9 hrs to upload and Dave of miniairboatassoc.com downsizing
it must have lost some of the quality. I could never have gotten it posted without Dave.
Dave, Thank you so much. Dave is Papee on this site.
Last year when Ronnie Deschamps and Phillip Jointer wanted to build their Puddle
Jumper Airboats, I got Marty Bray to design the MiniPro hull. Ronnie and Phillip
designed the metalworks and built the boats. Now Ronnie continues to build the
boats for me.
The List price for the MiniPro 116 is $ 11900.00. and that includes a new trailer.
We have one on sale, the red and white one, for $ 10500.00.
We are building the ground mini which will be on the minimini hull and will be a single
seater with a 35 HP Briggs. Thanks, Chuck

Nice boats... just a couple of questions for Chuck.

1. Do you think it would be safe/stable enough to run Lake Okeechobee during duck season?

2. What the height of the tallest point (excluding the flag) when it is on the trailer? Just wondering if it will fit in a regular garage. Of course at that size and weight I could just push it off the trailer onto a furniture dolly. I would rather not have to go to that much trouble to keep it inside.

3. I know some guys who use the Subaru motor (E81- I think) on gyro copters. These engines are pretty light even with a belt drive and make about 150 hp. Is this a viable option for a motor for this size boat?

Hey Muddyduck, I think it would be safe on Lake O, don't go out in the lake where
the wind can get up and cause big swells. The height is 8 ft 7 inches to top of cage
while sitting on the minipro trailer with 13 inch tires. I don't know about the
Subaru engine, I guess it would work. I don't know the weight of the engine and
it wouldn't be called a mini airboat. :) Thanks Chuck

chuck that is a great video. your boats perform much better then the one I have build with the arctic cat engine.
Chuck offered me to test drive one of his mini to see how it compared to mine. I did not have time to make the run the day I was at his shop. Boy did I miss a good change to ride a bad a$$ mini
Chuck you should think about making a salt water series for use guy who run the gulf.

The boats in the video don't have slick bottom. The ground mini we are building next
week will have. it will be on the 10 ft minimini hull. It will also be powered by the
35 HP Briggs, belt drive, and wood prop. It is a one person boat.
We will build a salt water series mini as soon as we get a customer for it.
The MiniPro 116 may run some ground with slick bottom, we just haven't tried it.
Thanks, Chuck
