There is a distributor that sells poly for dump truck liners in Stuart, about 15 minutes from my house. They sell that product, but you can't get it any thinner than 1/2in. It is heavy and expensive, over $60 a linear ft.

any polymar that is not 100% Virgin material and uses regrind in the mix is a more brittle material......I know some sheet stock is 100% regrind. If I had my choices it would be 100% virgin material. You are also correct on what the industry specifies as melt flow....virgin mat'l has a higher melt flow, compared to regrind. BUT, your not going to get your bottom that hot.

There is white as well, although it slides better because it is usually harder than the black stuff, it won't last you as long....unless you are going to replace it every couple of years due to hard running than what's the difference. Some of the old Palm Bch guys use white polymar because it is harder than the black, and they like the way it performs.

I spoken with the rep several time and have samples to 1/4" inch. They say that they usually get request for the 1/2". I said most guys run 1/4 or 3/8.

hngm123, did they give you any idea on price for 1/4in or 3/8in ? and what widths are available? The place by me said that it comes in 8ft or 10ft wide, so there would be some waste.
