Friends of the Bylsma family and members of the FSCA are putting together the cookout after the memorial on Saturday. The memorial will start at 11:00am at the Bylsma’s home. Then the cookout will follow at the Baptist Church around the corner.
We will be meeting at the church at 9:30am to start the coals on the grill. Please meet there and drop off your dish and/or cooler before the memorial.
So let's get together and make this happen. We are planning to cook hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled BBQ pork, fried gator & gator fritters, and drinks.
Airboat & Halftrack is donating their cooker with all charcoal for the day.

The members of the church have donated items also, such as casserole’s, green beans and corn, and 2 hams. They have iced tea dispensers (we have to bring the tea), there is an ice machine for drinks if needed.
Below are items that we are asking each person to bring:
A cooler with 12 waters and 12 sodas (any kind) with ice
A side dish or appetizer or dessert

Update on the celebration of Jack's life, the ceremony will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday September 8 at the Bylsma house: Buckhead Ridge 73 Palm St, Okeechobee, FL 34974 and the BuckHead Ridge Baptist Church address is 8 Cypress Street, Okee FL 34974 (but the church is not on Cypress, this is the address of the pastor across the street, the church is actually on Hunter Street. When you turn off of 78 to 14th street it turns into Hunter so you will see the church) you can MapQuest for directions to the Bylsma and pastors house and see both.
