i'm going to be putting mufflers on my boat soon, will a flowmaster muffler be ok i don't have the money for the stanless mufflers, i just would like to make it a little quiter.

Yep they will work fine just not hold up as well to the water as the stainless ones do but will still probably last a couple of years.

DynaTech makes a very good flowing muffler that really lowers your DB’s. Their also very compact 14’’ long and around 4-1/2’’ oval they sound awesome I’m putting a set on my boat. The Jegs part number for a 3’’ muffler is 329-76-014302. I’m just going to ceramic coat mine. The packing in them is stainless steel so I’m sure they will last awhile. They sound really good and deep. Their $80 each, Flow Master does make mufflers in stainless.

Thunder - Why are they getting ceramic coated?

I assume either for color or to prevent rust, but often I assume wrong, so let me know.

hogestein a freind of mine has flowmaster 40 series on his pounder i don't think it's quieter on the top but at idle it sounds much deeper and it still turn's the same rpm.

They are not stainless mufflers their steel. I have built several race car headers out of mild steel and they rust out quickly. When you coat them it triples their life. Plus everything is polished or ceramic coated on my boat and I want them to match my headers.
