My 18 hp Briggs

Well-known member
I got my engine back from the shop today. It's a 18 hp opposed twin. Last year I bored it, new crank, push rods, cam, and ground the pistons for clearance. He put on a new reworked carb and the new rings and it now 32hp at 3700 rpms. it will turn 4800 but it's not safe because of the cast flywheel. My Ultra Prop only needs 3200 tops any way.

Okee,

I don't know how often Papee checks in here.

Try going to http://miniairboatassoc.com/ and ask that same question.

Papee is the site admin there. Yes, he's a very helpful kind of guy.

Okee,

I don't know what engine you have, but here's a few web sites.

http://www.arrowprop.com/

http://www.competitionaircraft.com/

http://www.ivoprop.com/

http://www.tn-prop.com/prop.htm

http://www.whirlwindpropellers.com/airboat/product_mini.html

http://www.ultralightprops.com/

There are many others... :bounce:

Don't get me wrong, I love this forum, and have learned a lot from it. But if you want "MINI" airboat info, you may find more on a mini airboat forum. MOST of the guys here are more into the full sized airboats.
