My First Boat Is Gettin There PART 2

I worked on my boat a little before we ate turkey. i bolted up the seat/motor stand. when i went to bolt up the motor, 3 of the nuts in the motor mounts had beat up helacoils in them. being thanksgiving and impatient, we just made some out of a grade 8 bolt i had layin around.

Got everything bolted up. startin to come together.

I ordered clear griptape for the deck, it'll be in soon. but i got my hatches all riveted on

Halfway done with paintin my gas tank

went ahead and stuck my hella lights on to get em out of the garage

this is a RC duck my little cousin is makin out of an old wal-mart boat. i thought it was cool, and funny. just thought i would through that in. he wants to chase all the older guys RC sailboats around at the park':lol:'

where did you get that camo pattern from?we have sallgrass and a nother pattern but i wouldn't mind mixin it up a liittle bit.add all three toghter if you know what i mean .

your boat is coming alone good ,looks great ,it will be something to be proud of because you put so much time into it hope all works out and you have a great time with it .

thanks woody. i got the stencils from extreme camo. its the max 4 pattern. you can make it look really different depending on the colors you use, the background you choose, and how many times you layer it. i just used each stencil once. there are 3 stencils per kit.

r you going to clear coat the boat?i would because it will not scratch off your camo if you do.

yeah i clear coatedd the sides and i still have to finish camoin the bow and clear it. but the deck isn't gettin stenciled. i'm gonna put strips of clear griptape on it.
