NATIONAL AIRBOAT RODEO starts Thursday

The NATIONAL AIRBOAT RODEO kicks off Thursday night with a fish fry,
beer bash and story telling contest,sponsored by AIRBOAT WORLD
MAGAZINE.

Friday morning is the Pan Fish Tournament and the opening of exhibits
and demonstrations.
There is a gar gigging contest Friday evening, a block party, with
live music and dancing.

Saturday will be filled with vendor exhibits, demonstrations, games,
raffles, prize give-a-ways, skeet/trap shooting, hay rides, horseback
riding, live music, a poker run on Lake Kissimmee and a professional
rodeo Saturday night.

On Sunday there will be more of the same with the addition of airboat
obstacle course racing.

If you miss this event you will wish that you hadn't!
There is still RV space available at River Ranch Resort.

Sponsored by the Florida Airboat Association and the Kissimmee River
Valley Sportsmen's Association.

River Ranch cannot be easier to find.
Coming from either the south or the north, take either the Florida Turnpike, I-95, I-75 or US 27 to Hwy 60.
If you are coming from the east coast, take Hwy 60 west to the Kissimmee River and there is the entrance to River Ranch Resort.
If you are coming from the west coast, take Hwy 60 east to the Kissimmee River and there is the entrance to River Ranch Resort.
River Ranch is approximately 28 miles east of Lake Wales and approximately 15 miles west of Yee Haw Junction.

This sounds like an event that I do not want to miss. I will be coming up on saturday. I know roughly where it is. Could you give directions?

Look me up while you are there. I will be the one running around like a crazy person. I will be conducting several lectures in the East Corral and you can find me spending a lot of time in the Public Safety Exhibit Area.
Oh yeah, did I mention? I will be one of the judges for the Story Telling Contest Thursday night.
