Just finished up my new to me boat and first 14x8 Panther with a 6.0. Looking for folks to ride with in Putnam and surrounding counties. I live near Palatka so Rodman and Lake George is always on the table for me. I'll likely be hitting the springs at George this weekend if anyone wants to meet up.

You have the USAA club west of you that rides Orange Lake and Lockloosa. Check out the Orange Lake Gang posts on Facebook.

Smokster, I do appreciate you guys stopping! I'll need to get with you one weekend. Ran to Fort McCoy the other week which was a nice ride. Definately a lot more area to ride then when I had a mud boat.

we cut some new trails, or opened up old ones. there's plenty of back trails out there on both sides of the river.

You have to hunt from a regular boat in Orange unless you’re hunting in daylight hours. Airboats banned at night.

FYI....all of Orange Lake is Alachua county and is under the the ordinance no matter where you put in. I personally don’t agree with the ordinance but that’s what the “tree huggers” in Alachua wanted....

Pretty sure this man also knows the ordinance pretty good, BEING THE ONLY PERSON TO EVER GET THE "AIRBOAT BAN" TICKET THERE !

Sharp boat, (also in Putnam boatless for now).

Basketcase alive and well.

False, he was ticketed and FOUGHT it he’s the only one to win!

LOL...your comment is also kinda false, (as Smokey won the initial court case) but now Alachua County has stepped up their game to keep a ban in place by another means.

i was the first one to get the ticket. there were two others that got a ticket also. i fought the ordinance and won. they appealed and lost again. they changed the wording on the ordinance and re-instated it. it wont hold water, but instead of spending money to fight every little change to the wording we're going to fight it at the state level. more to come on that.
