Need a carburetor for Continental 220 GPU

I am needing to replace the carb which is not repairable. It is a Holley 3250 two barrel. I dont know enough about this to know if another brand or type will work. I have tried salvage yards but carburetors are dinosaurs to them anymore. I tried Summit Racing and they asked about how many cubic inches and CFM required and I couldnt answer either question. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Holly two barrel is good place to start. John Fenner has posted several times what jets you want.
Do a search for Holly Carburetor, you will find a bunch of information.

Go to advance auto and buy a holley 500cfm 2 barrel carb. Check the jets. You will need right around #74 size jets. It should bolt to your intake you have now. They are about 350.00 if my memory is correct.

Get a 4412 2 barrel. No choke! I have 76 jets, 6.5 power valve, not sure on squirters, but a 50 cc accelerator pump. Works great. Fenner is the man, do a search on here.

Don't want to appear stupid, but......
I assume I have the same engine. A 220 h.p. Continental PE-150, or is this a different engine? Has a Zenith carb.. I've heard that people have converted to a Holley 2 barrel. But with it mounting surface 90 degrees different, don't see how. Unless we're talking about a different engine, manifold, or adaptor.

A manifold plenum modified to hold the Holley is needed, replace the o-rings and hoses while changing it out, there are many out there due to blown engines, saw one on a Facebook airboat page, if I see it again, will post a link or a number, had a carb as well as a couple other parts.

Thanks John. Just sent the Zenith out a few weeks ago to be rebuilt. But I will definitely keep an eye out for one for future issues. If anyone knows of one, please holler.....
