I have a 2017 Levitator 6.2 with 550HP and only 170+- hours with blown head gaskets GTO airboats said. Was honestly well taken care of. Rarely ever ran ground with it. They and I have no idea why it had any issue! Should I sell it as is or fix and sell it? How much should I ask? I am upgrading HP with new motor. PM me if anyone has any interest in it

It will be worth more money fixed but you never know what your going to find until you get inside something.

Hello,
Sorry to hear your problem. Running a Levitator 6.2 LSA SC myself. GTO built boat.
Was it a boat built by GTO? Been having my own problems here. Engine overheating....195 thermostat installation problem, gasket not right. Went with 165 degree t-stat with extra hole drilled in flange. So that worked out. Still had problems....PCM rep I talked with was great....Send him a Diacom download. He said bad SC pump...and put it under warranty even though warranty was expired, and to coordinate with GTO. I was going to install it myself. However, its been 5 weeks about....no water pump. So I pulled the pump and ordered one off the internet. Just flushed that system. put in the pump in....no problems after running it on trailer. With temp gun temps looked good. Rep recommended Water Wetter coolant additive to help keep temps down. Seems to me...that PCM has been having some overheating issues.
Not sure how all that may relate to your problem. Oh, by the way, if you are running an OX box....found the bolts way under torqued....with at least one loose and one back out and down in the hull. Stay in touch, hope it somehow works out for you!

I also have a 6.2 Levitator (2020) and had supercharger pump issues, luckily it was still under warranty. Knock on wood, I have not had cooling issues, after hard dry running temp was 175 usually stays 155/160 at cruise.

Hello,
Torn down my SC pump. Seems like it might have been water leaking into the armature area. I thought thought the problem could of been the play between the impeller and the rubber cup...probably at least a 1/16" Also, found the rubber O ring between the cup and armature are was like completely level with housing....meaning hardly a seal. On the internet a pump is like $235...but note the new same Johnson model number is 90L min flow vs the 50L min that came with the boat in 2018. Think PCM has been having problems with cooling...PCM rep seemed to indicate it...but did not come right out and say it.
Anyone is welcome to contact me, regarding this engine issues....have been going over it pretty thoroughly.

Just watch those advertised flow rates. A lot of pump manufactures will manipulate the test to get high flow rates but in real life with the restrictions and hose sizes actually used, the pump doesn't flow near what it's advertised to do. Here is a good read on Lingenfelter intercooler pump test results on LSA engines. https://fiinterchillers.com/tech_articles/lingenfelter-intercooler-pump-flow-testing-results/ The lower you can get your IAT the more power and happier the engine will be. I upsized all my hoses, I used a radiator for a heat exchanger, and Varimax pump. My tuner was shocked and impressed at how low my IAT was and stayed even after several hard pulls. He even shot it with a temp gun to make sure what he was seeing on the laptop was actually the truth   Just some food for thought since your in there messing with it anyway..

I'm running an outsized heat exchanger as well. With the pulley I'm running, I'm hitting 12.5 psi boost with no issues. I've been running this engine since 2015 and have put close to 600 hours on it. Still running the same intercooler pump that came from Marine Power.
