Need drain plug help

FRAM used to make a deal that took the place of your drain plug and then you plug a hose into it and hte oil starts draining

Where can I get this? Anyone seen one in the last month or so?

I've checked Advance and Summit too, no avail. Napa doesn't carry FRAM

I bought one a few months ago at discount auto same thing as your talking about the first part replaces the drain plug and then you have a quick connect drain hose to attach when you want to drain oil. I don't remember how much it was but it was not expensive at all

Here is a site. This is the kind we use at work. We also use some 90 degree ball valve ones but they drain too slow.

Nice solid brass and it drains pretty quick.

Aircraftspruce has 2 different ones that are 1/2 npt that fit the ac oil sump without any adapters. One is expensive and the other is more expensive. I don't regret installing one for a minute --- they are slow, but you can change the oil without the mess. Our Takeuchi loader came with one from the factory.

I have one that came on my ski boat (inboard). It works well but you won't win any oil change races with it.

On my 540 I used a 1/2 ball valve from ace, then a long enough hose to reach a bucket, I leave a pipe plug in the hose just if someone decides to turn the valve on.

I need the hose becuase I can't get a drain pan under the drain hole, how my rigging is set up.

It looks like the Fram Sure Drain is no longer in production. Too bad when they came out I didn't realize that I would ever have a use for one.

The eBay deal is good, unfortunately my account "may have been compromised by a third party" and it's not letting me get on there right now.

The good news is, the next time I change my oil, I should have a whole new setup .
