I have been dialing in a new combo LS2 that I will be offering in two versions. One will be electronically fuel injected and will make 450HP and the other will be a 500HP carbureted. Both motors will be offered complete carburetor/Throttle body to pan! I wanted to get a few 500HP out there with over 500 hours with at least two years on them before offering this. Any motor that I sell after 02/01/07 that's 500HP and under will come with a one year warranty. This will not be a repair warranty it will be an exchange warranty! If you hurt it we will exchange a bran new motor for your old motor! Everything accept over heating or running with out oil will be covered!
 
Do you want it carbed or DFI. I can also Dyno the motor for you if you want and supply the Dyno sheet with the motor! I will P.M. you!

A friend of mine just asked your dad for a quote on a boat with an LS 2. You need to hook a brotha up and get some of these on the Texas Coast.

One of Waterthunder's new 500 HP engines would look really good in my boat.. :wink: I think American Airboat needs to have one tested for awhile, you know, just to be safe... :D I'll volunteer to try out the engine, it's the least I can do for ya.. :wink: :wink: Just give Waterthunder a call and give him my shipping address. Now don't forget to give him YOUR address for the payment.. :P

I have a few in Alaska already as far as I know they still have the same spark plugs in them for two years now. Things are about to go crazy I have been doing alot of work with somebody on some new things coming down the pike later! Let's just say these motors may be flying in the air as much in the water! I have to start verifying everything and have a paper trail for each step and procedure!

I appreciate it. I'm pretty sure I know what I want I just need 1 more year to make sure my business is running like I want, then I'll be ready.

BarHoopper the only main difference between a LS1 and LS2 is the LS1 has a 3.900 bore and is a 346 cubic inch and the LS2 is a 4.00 bore and is a 364 cubic inch motor. Everything else is interchangeable. Most people will try and dazzle you buy saying OH the LS1or LS2 is old stuff there is a completely new motor out there. Fact is the LS1,LS2, LQ9 and LS7 are all Gen III motors just like a 265,262, 283, 302, 307,305, 350 and 400 are all interchangeable.

You trying to play catch up with me ? I promise you will love the performance and reliability and you will have a huge weight reduction over that big block you have in there now and Thunder don't forget the LS 6 like I have it sure runs great also but they all do if you build them
 
With these fuel injected 400HP motors which will actually make around 425HP I'm doing everything possible to make sure everything is a trouble free installation! I will be supplying the correct fuel pump with the motor and everything will be test ran and tuned. Also if requested for a fee of $400 I will fully dyno tune and adjust all the ignition and fuel system. Nothing additional will be needed or any tuning or adjusting required! Just drop it in your boat and go riding! I think it will cost around $2,600 more for the fuel injected motor then the carburetor motor and the INJECTED package does come with a fuel pump!

I know I'd fall in love with a Waterthunder Engine, but so far, my 502 is still running great.. 1400 hours on it and it still running like a recently violated primate... :D :D
I would love the weight savings..
Anyone out there want to buy a "slightly" used 502?? :wink:

Brian, the thing that's so spooky about those Thunder motors, besides the fact that they don't weigh much, is the snap.
You'll have to drive Sniper's boat before long ...... :shock: .

Water Thunder you say my engine will be done in the next week or so. You are building me a new 500HP LS2, will it be covered under this new warranty???
