New and Searching for the right place

Hi there,

Just hopped on this site and looking for recommendations for someone familiar with Kissimmee Lake. My wife and I are both teachers here locally in Fort Myers and she drew 2 gator tags. Trying to find someone to take us out has seemed more troublesome than I thought. I also understand I could be posting in the wrong area but any help would greatly be appreciated.

I would imagine you could get good results with a Google search but another possibility is to call Grape Hammock, which is located at the south end of Lake Kissimmee, and ask them for a reference. I would bet good money more than a few guides work out of that camp. Another option would be to contact Camp Mack, which is at the north end of the lake and has better accommodations.

Look up Captain Dave Markett he has a facedbook page I believe he just put another customer on a big gator.

Speaking of accommodations, there is also Westgate River Ranch which is just a few miles from Grape Hammock and is a great place to stay; rodeo, saloon, trap and skeet, horseback riding.
