New Boat

Just the beginning, but it sure does make a boatless guy (me) feel better when there's a new one in the making.

This is the motor I bought from D-BREWSTER a while back. It's a fuel injected O-470 Continental (260 hp) right out of the plane. It's been painted up & has rebuilt mags and starter kit installed.

Thanks, gonna put it on 12' Diamondback hull (flat bottom) similar to Geneva0550's. Single front driver, double back seat, powder coated rigging. Been talking to Bobby and we're gonna build it a little lighter than normal. Should have some more pics soon.

No doubt about that bondsman...Making a Comeback II...coming soon! :)

Looks awesome rick! That is what bobby did to my hull he used .090 on the sides,transom and deck. .125 on the bottom. Kind of an ultra ultralight.

deepsea - I had a guy named Cecil, in Melbourne, get the motor ready. The jugs stayed on, but he did pull other stuff off like push rod tubes, etc. and everything painted blue.

We're gonna re-paint the blue with a slightly darker, metallic blue to match other parts of the boat.

Man that a nice looking motor,can't wait to see the boat when its done I sure Bobby will do you a real fine job
 
Talk to Abner and lets put a Stinger on the back of it! :D I plan on doing some testing on my old 470. Dragging my feet on it but i'm going to get fired back up .In talking to Abner they have been testing and running a 1.5 and 1.7 with a falcon series prop and they are bad. So far i don't believe anyone has tested a 1.85 or 2.09 with the superwide? anyway sweet motor get that thing running it's summertime :)
 
The new boat project's coming along real nice. Riggin gets powder coat and hull gets finished tomorrow.

Made the sides a little lower on this boat so the grandkids could get in & out a little easier. :)
