New Member Looking for Airboat decal ideas

painterchic

Well-known member
I'm a new member (as of tonight!) and I just created my first air boat decal to sell. I'm hoping that someone can give me some ideas for funny sayings or variations of the air boat.. (someone asked me about putting a bow-fisherman in the bow of the boat) I'm great at creating stuff that other people come up with ideas for, but draw a blank when trying to come up with something new on my own. People up here in New York... (and no I'm not in the city, I'm upstate in the sticks!) think I'm nuts because I love air boating, but that's because most of them don't know what they're missing!!! Wish I had my own! Somebody PLEASE Give me some ideas!!

Its too bad I'm not farther south... I'm a painter by trade and could probably knock your socks off with paint work on rudders! That's one of the things I always admire most about the boats. I can do anything someone wants if they can come up with the idea, but I'm always jealous of the people who have imagination AND talent!

Whatever you come up with, just keep one thing in mind, airboaters always spell "airboat" as one word. I know that the proper spelling is "air boat", but we've never been big on being proper. :D

Hello Painterchick,

I can vouch for her ,She did a great job on mine ......PLUG....PLUG .... :D

Nice work ! Welcome to the forum Painterchick ....... nice to have ya aboard.

We always have work around here for graphic talent. Tag along for a while and I'm sure someone will find some work for you.

Welcom painterchic. A suggestion to help stir your creative juices and nurture some original ideas...get yourself out on an airboat. Feel the wind, the engine and prop power pushing you over different terrain like nothing else...yea. Then stop, pop open a cold one or diet coke and some Oreos, and just listen, peacefull, your in the middle of nowhere, no traffic or car horns, watch the wildlife. Then look at the machine that got you there and you'll see it in a different light

Not sure where BPS is at right now.
I'm sure if he saw this, he would suggest something like:

"Aircraft Engines"
airboat graphic goes here
"Chicks Digg'em!"

Thank you guys SO much for making me feel welcome!!! Whenever I'm down south my main goal is to get out on an airboat... that's what makes my whole trip worthwhile! There is nothing like skipping over gator heads going as fast as the boat will go! My cousin does his absolute best to make sure I get to go out when I'm able to get down there. By the way, the ideas you guys have given me so far are GREAT!! I'm gonna have to get to work on them! I can't believe how fast your decals got to you in Alaska too, that was amazing to me, so glad you like them, they look fantastic on your truck too!

You guys are KILLIN' ME!!! I don't think I've laughed like this in who knows how long, keep em' coming! OK... had a new thought today... (ok so it was brain fart of sorts to be honest... but we'll call it a "thought" to make me sound smarter than I really am...lol) What do you guys think of an "Airboat Parking Only" sign for your parking spot?? Thoughts anyone????

I'm thinking.... (which usually causes problems). Maby tomorrow something clever will come to mind that isn't X-rated or in-appropriate for younger viewers.

Where is Cincinattus?
We live ~55 miles N. of Syracuse.

yea Cowboy, i want one of them "chicks dig Aircraft Engines" decals, maybe painterchic and help us out! haha thats pretty good...

I can make you guys decals that say just about anything.... although I do prefer to keep it clean for the little ones who might see them, but if it was something you really wanted I could do it... as for where Cincinnatus is.... I'm about 35 miles south of Syracuse and about 20 minutes east of Cortland...
