New poll ranks swamp's fall foliage first

Fall foliage normally doesn't come to mind
in Florida, but should the annual shedding
of the cypress in Big Cypress Nat'l Preserve
actually rank first (even over New England)?

This unbiased opinion piece says "yes."

You might like the fall, but for me, nothing compares to the bright lime green cypress swamp in the spring. As an added bonus, I don’t have wade, in the dry season I just get my feet wet.

That's a good point ... especially if the low spots are still holding water
