New Rotator Gearbox

well I just changed out the gear boxes on my boat after WaterThunder talked me in to trying this new gear box, even though it was a few hour's labor, it was very well worth it, this new box has a super wide gears they are a full inch wider than the box I had on the boat and it will handle 1000 hp so there is no chance I'm going to break this one with the riggers of doing Search & Rescue work but the thing I like the most to my surprise is no gear box noise, it's totally quiet and at idle there is hardly any noise from the harmonics of the prop like my old box did so if any one is planing on buying a gear box any time soon, I would highly recommend getting this gear box over the standard one its well worth the extra 10 lbs of weight and your still a long way from what a belt drive weighs

They keep working and improving these things so these gearboxes keep getting better so now the (their to loud) excuse can no longer be used truthfully! I have put over a 1,000HP to these wide gear Rotators and they lived! I'm about to hot rod my first gearbox it will be interesting to see what happens with my new motor and boat! I'm glade your happy with it Sniper hopefully this can be a help too you on a search and rescue mission!
