New to the airboat world

Welcome I am from Ocala as well and knew dad, Scott. BTW Steve R. is on here but not often screen name is Tater Nutz
Lake Hernando is a great place to go put in behind the ace hardware go north across the lake to potts preserve, a lot of shallow open water to get some stick-time. Also some tight trails.

Thank you I might go to grassy pond in ft Mccoy. My buddy lives on it and said I could launch at his house

Met him years ago at the appliance place. Also bought my oil from him after we met.

Met Steve when he 1st got his aitboat many years ago

Let off the gas and you have no stearing! Think like a jet ski, but rember there are two kinds of airboaters. Those that have sunk or swamped one and those that will.
I've been on jet skis plenty of times. And I hope to not swamp one any time soon

GB III you know we gotta ask what happened!!

Definitely skinny as hell at Lake Hernando area right now. Waiting on Swiftmud to open up the river side. They had to repair the dike on the outfall canal so haven’t been letting any water from the river in
