I was thinkin ,which most of the time I shouldn't, that just maybe Cheryl and I would stop off at camp mack on the way back from the Glades and enjoy new years eve at the Bus.I passed this Idea along to cntry and hes all for it as he'll be attending the glades festivities also .

Swump, the milk bus is an old truck from the 40's, parked and rusting on the top of a hill along the edge of Lake Kissimmee. Looks like it broke down there many many years ago. I've heard it used to say "So-n-so Dairy" on the side.... and it looks like a school bus doors on it. An old step van. It's cattle country out there, always has been. Search "Milk Bus" here - about two years ago it was discussed, and Jim and a bunch of others found some photos of what it looked like new.
All that aside - it's a great place to camp, Beautiful sunsets, lots of parking for boats..... Most boats I've ever seen there was 140 airboats at one time.

When I was 7 or 8 yrs old my parents ran the Kiss. chain and the bus was all together and actually had paint on it. I think I have some pictures but they may have me in them with my striped tube socks from back in the day, but that will just be a date mark. I will try to find so I can post haven't seen them in yrs.

Milk Bus
Osceola Airboat Association club meeting we talked about the Milk Bus and that the sheriff is giving tickets to airboats that are under the trees. the tree huggers are claiming that prop wash is uncovering the roots of the trees. so watch your selves at the BUS.
UPDATE 11/27/07
I have learned that this is not the case. NO ONE has the right to ticket you for being under the trees at the milk bus.
