[Hi all from the land of New Zealand. im interested in building an airboat so thought id have a look here. WOW amazing. so many variations. so any info or help would be fantastic thank you 8)

welcome kingfisher I have being to new zealand twice for a month each time and I loved it most of your boats over there are made of aluminum so I would stick with that are you going to run the shallow rivers? check out http://www.classicairboats.com and click on new 2005 catalog and down load it in pdf it has pictures and descriptions of everthing you will need and why its very informative.

A big thanks to Croc 1 and sniper. if it all comes together mostly we will be running on flood water, when our farm land floods it turns into 300 acres of instant lake. We also have lakes and tidal rivers. not looking to build something to big (at first) so what types of motors are suitable. any pics would be greatly appreciated thanks Sniper. i think this will be a lot of fun over here. :shock:
