Newbie Here...

Great site guys….. :headbang:

I been doing a lot of reading and hanging around for the past couple weeks and decided to join you guys and get some good advice…

I don’t own a Boat (yet) but been toying around with the idea for a long time now but as most when I did or could have gotten a boat I let it slip on by and got married started having kids, mortgage payments and working my fingers to the bone to provide for the family. :cheers:
Now my kids are a lot older I’m doing very well in my career and I decided it’s time to start looking at boats again! :thumbleft: It’s been a long time since I been out on the River ride’n around with my buddies and their boats and I always had a blast….
Came close a few times to actually getting a boat of my own but just never followed through for one reason or another but now is the time…. :thumbup:

I’m gonna do a lot of homework and checking out a lot of different setups before I go diving right in…some things have changed over the years as I’m seeing with props, hulls and what not…glad I found you guys and this great site which is full of a wealth of information for the new and experienced Airboater.. ccasion5:

Actually it’s pretty much the opposite I’m always happy lov’n life so they always mess’n with me asking why I am always so sad…

Kinda like calling a Really Big guy “Tiny� :shock:

I use to run with a few of my friends on the East Side and put in right there at hwy 50 back in the day….I probably know a few of you guys already :wink:

Welcome to the forum Saddaddy, were glad ya found us. Jump right in and make yourself at home. You will find not only a lot of great information here that you can't find anyplace else but also a lot of activities to partiscipate in.

The info here is free as is all the one on one help and advice but keep in mind this site doesn't run for free. Were all about helping fellow airboaters and it helps to foot the bills for the site if we each contribute swomething for Site Support. remember that Rick is not just a net geek with a forum page set up, Rick is an airboater. Just consider it man, there will always be free memberships still but site support does make a difference.

You can simply click on the word Member under your name to explore the site support possibilities. Its more important that we each contribute something then it is how much we each contribute. There shgould be something there that fits nearly everyone Again just explore the possibility.

I am an old time airboater and still in the last year or so I have got like thousands of times worth my money in information and advice. Not to mention getting to know some of the coolest people in airboating in the world right here on the forum.
