i've got a 140hp corvair unit, it weighs 500lbs ready to go in/on a hull. would a 12x5 alum hull be able to handle the weight? it's a "lake buggy" style hull, kinda' reminds me of a "psycho hull". thanks in advance
i currently have a 200 lycoming on an older model boat that is 5' wide. it gets tipsy as hell with any shift in weight. don't quote me but i believe this motor weighs 240 lbs. so, a 500 lb. motor may roll you like a kayak!!!
