The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public workshop on March 10, 2005 at the Government Complex on County Road 491 in Lecanto, Fl.at 6:00 PM. This workshop is the proposed rules Airboats will have to abide by to operate in Citrus County. In this document they have exempted every form of sound generation created except the airboat. Their boats and equipment especially. The 90 db @ 50' is in the rule. They do not want to wait for the conclusion of the FWC testing program.
All assistance and attendance is requested at this workshop if you ever hope to ride in Citrus Count or are symphathetic to our cause.
