[Sniper]

Spent several day in NC in the Cape Fear area , the roads are really messed up, a lot of them are flooded so you really have to pick your way around all the major roads are under water and it does not look like the water is going any where for a while most of the people in the areas we searched have been evacuated, there was one elderly couple we found way in the back side of an area we searched and the group I was working with brought them some needed supplies their house was high and dry and they did not want to leave so the supplies were left with them and we moved on most of what we did was tending to large Animals and evacuating the small ones

there was a lot of houses over there that all you could see was the roof tops, I worked with a nice group of guys in a Diamondback Bow fishing
boat and we searched every where we could get, the property damage was a bit overwhelming there is a lot of people over there in the area we worked that lost everything

I just got back on Wednesday from a 7 day deployment as the STL of 5 Rescues. We were in Bolivia, NC. It sure is a mess up there. Roads are completely washed out as mentioned. We were operating out of Military LMTV's for 2 days due to high water. Here are a few pics. Glad u got back safely.

no its very stressful you constantly have to be watching every where you go to make sure you dont hit anything so many submerged obstacles and above surface stuff as well like close lines and guide wires but the one nice thing was the group from OBAH Search & Rescue were a real nice bunch to work with

Great job. A lot of the same scenes we saw in SE TX last year. We did a lot of the same things... bringing food and water to those that are high and dry but on a temporary island. We brought a bunch of feed to those areas too for the large animals that were stranded.
