How or what type of motor mounts do you use on the rear of a O-290 GPU. Do you ream the case to take the cone shaped bushings or is there another method.

I use a machined bushing that takes the.. lycoming cone rubber mount..That's at each end of the bushing!

Combee Airboats used to use radius arm bushings from Ford F150 series trucks (Ford used the same part from 1965 to at least the late 80's) They are super durable and in-expensive. Presuming that you're talking about the "ears" on the rear of the engine.

Yeah I know about those...You can't use them on this engine..The other way would be to taper the hole in the case..To fit the cone rubber mount...I thank my way is the best!!! :D
