WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Richard Michael Combee, age 63, a resident of Winter Haven, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital surrounded by family.
Mr. Combee was born June 20, 1957 in Lakeland to James Weaver and Carolyn (Unger) Combee. He was a lifetime Polk County resident, graduated from Winter Haven High School Class of 1975 and continued to graduate from Polk Community College with an Associate's Degree. Richard co-owned and operated Combee Airboats in Lake Hamilton together with his father, James, until he passed away 15 years ago. He was a member of Thrive Church in Winter Haven. Richard was a certified scuba diver, licensed pilot for small aircrafts, enjoyed traveling and especially spending time with his family.
