my new hayden cooler has the fittings on the top and bottom, old cooler had in and out on top, my question is should I feed in the top and exit the bottom or does it really make any difference? Also I have a screw on champion filter and am not sure which line is which?

Mwood, take the two lines from your filter and put them in a bucket. Crank the engine over with the ignition off ...... whichever one the oil squirts out of, attach that one to the bottom of the cooler.

The idea is to always allow air a way to the top. Up and out.
