Oil Filter for O360

I know someone has a quick link or local shop who has these conversions for a spin on oil filter for O360s. Mine ain't far off from seeing life again and I wanna add this if it makes sense. If it don't somebody speak up.

Scotty

Scotty, you talking about the remote mounted
filter housing plumbed into your cooler lines ?
If so any of the speed shops should have them
they are handy as a pocket in a shirt, when your
trying to put a big old motor somewhere it don't
belong. The kits came with the screw on adapter
that replaced the spin on filter, and had two pipe
thread ports, the other part had a mounting flange
with the two ports and held the filter.
Might try JC Whitney online.

I had in mind the kit that bolts where the oil screen housing etc, or in its place, is on the engine. I'm sure an in line oil filter would work fine though, just hadn't thought of it yet.

I just thought someone might know real quick where to get them. I'm sure I can probably find one on Aircraft Spruce or some other site around. Just got lazy and didn't wanna do the research. Hahaha

Scotty

Scotty,Jr Jurnigan in Plant City sells them they are $200 with the filter, also Don George and Wally Moore in Orlando has them as well as Mike Thurman.I was told by Jr not to run an adapter with an automotive filter that they will bust on you.

I'll agree with tony. The oil in tan in those engines is thicker and they spike the oil pressure a little when first starting up and that can split the thinner automotive type filters.
