Oil temp gauge for 220

Looking to install an oil temp gauge on a 220 gpu. Can I use any run of the mill gauge or is there a certain kinda I need to get for the specific engine?

Any type of gauge would work, I would suggest an electric gauge, VDO or Stewart Warner, small enough sending unit to tee into the odd bank oil gallery feeding the oil cooler "hot side"
