where can I screw in an elect oil Temp sender, I have a mechanical now above the oil filter but it does not have a pipe thread, I think on the bottom of the pan is a 1/2 pipe thread I could probably use, Is there a better spot, Thanks, Mike
It goes in by he vernier therm( this regulator the oil temp. in same housing as the oil screen if you have one & not oil filter. By the oil filter if you have an oil filter
You can just get an adapter and use the gauge you have. Jr Jurnigan has them. I wouldn't put it in the pan because it will read much cooler there. I went through the same thing when I put a spin on filter and adapter on mine.
