Operation Chokepoint

No need to outlaw guns?
In a total abuse of executive branch powers, the administration is using operation chokepoint to put many gun related businesses out of Biz, by shutting them out of access to the banking system....

Last week I was attempting to purchase some ammo from an online retailer, but my card kept getting denied. I used a different card, and the transaction then went through fine. I had used the same card the week prior to purchase ammo from this same retailer without any difficulty, and the same card works without issue everywhere else.

They are using banks as a weapon against us, to tell us what we are allowed to purchase, and what we are not allowed to purchase..
Once they run all the retailers out of biz, we ont be able to buy gun related products period....

I believe this to be 100% true so let's boycott the banks that do not allow it and expose them for others.

I agree with boycot the banks that are in on it. Trouble is we need to compile a list to pass around.

I bet if you ask the NRA they already have a list
Great point, George ..... and I'm sure that if they don't have a list already, that they're compiling one!

That's why I use a credit union! I have never had an issue with any purchase: Firearms or ammo. Screw the banks!

:old_glory:

I don't know of any of the smart phone credit card swipes that allow firearms or ammo to be processed such Square or Pay Pal. I am sure the list goes on.

It almost appears this is about doing business on line or at least ordering on line. Most on line merchant accounts seem to have a different standard than the brick and mortar businesses do. Yet some or maybe even many still do business on line. I wonder if there is something other than politics involved that we aren't being told. They did not expand on their comment about risk so that just leaves a big question mark about what that means to them. At least awareness s growing and its enough to know about "some" of the facts. That may have to be good enough.

heck ya gotta show id to pay cash on cc at chase

I'm with ya' there, man ..... I've always had better treatment by a CU than a bank. When we were setting up the fund for Bud Marquis years ago, banks didn't want to touch it. Navy Federal Credit Union said "Sure, no problem", and they made it happen.
