Orange Lake, Gainesville, surrounding

New to airboat ownership. I live in Gainesville and Orange Lake seems to be the closest area to get stick time. Any tips or suggestions for riding there would be appreciated. Any areas to avoid? Eventually I would like to check out Citrus county and coastal areas around Cedar Key, Steinhatchee, Yankeetown, etc. If anybody from those areas is willing to let me tag along on a ride, that would be great. Thanks.

Thanks kwanjangnihm! I have read through that post before. I've been lurking for awhile now. Finally have a boat. Took it out for the first time Saturday and my son loved it. We were in the Orlando area though, so I'm looking forward to finding places closer to us.
