Over 2000 dead ducks found in Idaho

why does this always happen to greenheads instead of spoonbills or scaup? i wish it didn't happen to any but i hate to see "heads" die like that. this probably has more to do with Parks and Wildlife Refuges that hold thousands of ducks all year. these refuges can't be hunted and the ducks never leave leading to over-inhabitated wetlands that become a breeding ground for bacteria. good ol' P and W at their finest. we pay for the land......let us hunt it. i guess they think this will kill too many ducks. look what happens without hunters. but, this is just my guess of what happened. i could be wrong. either way, this same scenario does play out in refuges all over the country.

Yeah, your right Duck. Let's go swim in a sewage plant and see what happens to us. The bacterial levels are bad enough in wetlands with out an over abundance of waterfowl. It's not good to S#@* where you eat. Every few years we seem to have a mass die off of waterfowl due to these funny circumstances, but you know P&W they know how to make land more useful than God made it. Nature is the way it is for a reason they need to leave it alone, don't get me started on DU.
