Parts Auction Complete exhaust that won the sound test!
This is the complete exhaust I used to win the sound competition. I was the only air boat below 80Db. These parts are used but not too much. It utilizes unique mufflers that DO NOT use packing so there is nothing to rot out. The mufflers are stainless steel and 3 inch Dia. With opposing entrance and exit. (makes muffler quieter). The pipe is just mandrel bent galvanized courtesy of CC. I will state the mufflers and tips are all you probably want to use. I kinda threw this together the night before the sound test! There are two very short pieces of stainless flex pipe! The tip's (not stainless) have cone inserts this is usually good for a 3 to 4 db reduction I used them so I could direct the sound waves towards the water and bounce them. (Every time something changes direction it looses energy)! Anyway what ever they sell for I will donate 100% to Southern airboat to help support this awesome site that Rick has created and to help this monster keep going!
