Saturday, August 18 - Return to Shady Oaks - KRVSA hosts a Lake Kissimmee Cleanup / BarBQue / Poker Run / Hoe Down

do you have any start-time for the Shady Oaks party? I guessed 8 a.m. and lasting all day.

Obviously, the fireworks will start sometime after dark on the 7th.

Sounds like some fun for sure!

Word is the fireworks will start on MLK Mtn. /aka: "Da Ridge" soon after dark this Saturday evening.

Specifics on August 18 are still in flux capacitation...but, my guess is the cleanup will start as early as folks wish and end at noon with trash collection and a noon meal at Shady Oaks. Then, the Bobby Corey headed Poker Run will commense and run well into the afternoon - with another meal near dusk at Shady oaks ....after that, more fun and games....at Shady Oaks.

Tonight's the night for the big fireworks on the Ridge. Brad says there's more bang than a long bed F 250 could hold. We'll be there and we'll be looking for friends. Word is there is rain water in the trails in Gardner's, too. For all you racers out there.....radios will be tuned to the Firecracker 400.

Sounds like a blast indeed (no pun intended)(on 2nd thought i guess it was intended)Wish me and ole O550 coulda made that one. Me thinks I didn't crawl out from under the rock in time and let this one slip by me.
