PE90 horsepower: 140hp, What do you think?

If the PE150 produces 220hp from six cylinders, then the four cylinder PE90 should make 140hp. Baised on both engines having the same bore & stroke. Granted there will be variances from rotating masses, carburation,... but all in all 220/6= 35
4(35)= 140
For all of you fine folks that have been helping my resolve the issues with this little engine, I say THANKS!
BTW: Looks like it's finally running as well as it's going to...It'll spin a 66x34 AIR-PROP (which is fairly wide stick) to 2,600~2,650 at WOT without sputtering! Granted that speed is below it's max, but that's all it'll do (it will hold that speed ~3/4 throttle) :D

glad you got it running right now you get to play with finding the right prop

140-150 is about right , you can bump them up to 180-200 when you get ready

If it reaches that terminal RPM at only 3/4 throttle something is amis. Either over propped or something in the engine isn't working just right. Timing, Carb, worne out cam, worne out rings etc. Were it mine I'd be taking a second look at things.

Scotty :)
