Pitching A Prop

Would anyone have a idea of how many degree's I would need to add, to drop my Engine RPM's 500.

It is turning 5500rpm's at the present, and I would like to reduce it by 500rpm's to 5000rpm's. How many degree's of pitch should I add. Or a ball park to get me close. cooter

I would move it 2 degrees first. You might have to go 4.
