The Lake Kissimmee area is a beautiful area that is under attack. Currently developers are trying to obtain a 3000 acre tract of land from the South Florida Water Management District. The land was sold to the District with the intent to preserve the property. The District is now considering selling the property to a developer. Resolution Item 2006-141 is going to be voted on January 11, 2006 in West Palm Beach. If you believe Florida’s beautiful lands should be preserved for future generations, please consider signing the attached petition.
