PM hunt at STA 5

[Florida Cracker]

Hunted this afternoon for the first time at a Sta. Myself and John C hunted and my youngest daughter went as an observer.

I must say it was quite a bit of effort to wade through waist high or better hydrilla for about 4 to 500 yards. My buddy was on target and quickly had his limit, I wasn't but eventually got mine (we were the second party to leave the area).

We ended up with:

2 Black Bellies - each got our first
2 GWT
7 BWT
1 Ringer

Thanks for the invite John, had a great time. Sure did miss the airboat. Just makes you appreciate having one that much more.

I agree with Scotty. We need to get her shootin soon.

I went Sunday with a friend to STA5 for a morning hunt.
I shot 3 teal and 3 ringers in about 45 minutes.
my buddy killed 3 teal and 3 ringers too.

Had a great time. It was worth the drive.

I am going back in Dec. for an evening hunt. Can't wait.
