which do you guys prefere on polymere rivets or bolts

I am getting ready to go from slick bottom to poly. I have a glass hull, I have been told that rivets are good for Alum. but use nuts & bolts for fiberglass.

so far I have used rivits on mine they say when the rivits ware out it's time to change the polymer but they ware out at about the same time from what i have seen and 1 lbs of rivits is to about 10 to15 lbs of stainless hardware you can put rivits as close as you want. most run 6" squares and I run 4" squares
