Poor man’s power pole

I had a little idea to make a poor man’s power pole to anchor along the coastline for some redfish action.

That should work for you!

I have a friend with a saltwater aluminum hull he had a few spike points welded external.

Works well for him

I just bought two of the 10’ fiberglass poles a while back to keep in the airboat.
They come with a couple of different pre-made ropes with loops in them.
I just stick them (usually just one) into the bottom, and hook it to the cage or wherever with a bungie cord.

I also cut a piece of pool noddle and slide it up to the handle.

Work great to keep it a float after it's dropped.
