Make sure when shopping for price that you're comparing apples to apples.

Are you getting sand blasting?

How many coats? Some places may leave out the epoxy base coat or not do a clear coat over your color coat.

I got blasting and 3 coats for a little over 700

It also depends on the size/square inches of your rigging..............

Ace powder coating in West Palm. Motor stand, cage, rake, seat stand, steering rods, airfoil rudder, $500.00. Blasted and primed, no clear. If you have expanded metal on the seat stand you may want to use wet paint, there is is not enough surface on the edges of the expanded, and the powdercoat wont adhere to these edges, mine is 4 yrs old and is rusting very bad.
