Question -
I need to replace one of the threaded studs in my prop adapter. Do I need to have it pressed in (at a mechanic's shop) or can I tap it in with a mallet/hammer and then let the prop bolt pull it in till it's seated????
Other bkg info i(in case it matters)
wood prop, 72LXL32, DD350
Are there any special considerations I need to know about changing a wood prop? This will be only my second time changing a wood prop - I remember some of the tips we got from the Florida Air Prop guy when we got our last prop, but could use a refresher course.
thanks
matt.
