prop position

i changed the hull on my boat. the new stringers on the outside are 2" taller then the old one. Now my prop sits about an inch out of the back-splash as opposed to it used to sit about an inch below. Does this effect the boat any.

The higher the prop the greater the prop or torque roll. 2" isn't going to kill you unless you were marginal on torq roll before. You will see some slight differences but for an experienced airboater you should be able to handel it with little trouble.

Gig this, run it and see. You might even like it better. If it acts like it want to run on it's nose then you can always raise the rear of the
engine a 1/2".
