prop rotation question

ok I have a question though long winded on prop rotation direction

I was looking at T-rex's prop in the classifieds he said it was on a caddy motor (right hand rotation) with a gear box (changes it to left hand rotation) but looking at the leading edges of the blade in the picture it looks like right hand rotation ........you confused yet  .......hey nobody needs to tell me I a confused I stay that way :laughing5:

I am starting with a GPU conversation so it will be left hand rotation then add the gear box to making it right hand rotation that I need

does anyone personally know this prop and tell me witch rotation blades he has :?: :?:

OH ya the good news is my sticthes come out Thursday and I can start working on my boat again

Direct drive should be left hand rotation and gear drive should be right hand rotation. Belt drive will be left hand rotation same as direct drive. Unless you are looking from the front of the boat instead of the rear....

TRex bought the prop from Ruagator which came off of a gear reducted Cadillac, making it a right hand prop.

T S BLADES CAME OFF A GEAR DRIVE ! IF YALL TAKING ABOUT THE SAME BLADES I AM THINKING ! RIGHT HAND ! LOOKING FROM THE BACK OF THE BOAT! RIGHT HAND IS CLOCKWISE ! LEFT HAND IS COUNTER CLOCKWISE !

Thanks guys, that is what I needed to know. it's a right hand rotation prop

A friend of mine gave me a prop when I first put my boat together. With out thinking we bolted it on and went to the water.Fired the boat up and backed it right off the trailer. You should have seen us try to get it back on the trailer.
