prop selection help for my 320

Well after a long weekend of about 30 hours behind the welder my new Dback is just about ready for powder coating. I was considering sticking with the prop I had but when moving the motor over from my sled I noticed the prop has really delamenated so I figured its time to get a new prop. I am swinging a 66 36 right now and was thinking of going to a 68 34. I think I was hitting about 2800 RPMs at WOT with the 66 36. You all know I am new to this stuff and I don't want to sink 700 bucks into the wrong prop.
The motor is a 160 ho O-320 it was on a 10 x 6 sled and is now on a 12 x 7.5 D-back. Top speed is not my main concern ,keeping my butt in the seat and not out pushing is much more important and swapping the motor for a O-540 or even a small block is not an option. My bank account is about bone dry
I have considered running this prop for a few trips to get a better idea but I just don't want to risk putting a hole in my brand new boat. Appreciate any insight ,ideas or opinions.

My buddy found the 66x34 was the best size stick prop for his 160, spun up right at 3000rpm. His present setup is a 66" water walker cypress series and loves it. Cruises at a lower rpm and pushes harder on dry.

I have a 68 x 34 Sensenich on this boat. This engine is only a 150 and it pushes pretty good. It'll spin up quick and has a nice cruise for a 13' boat. Run some dry but not a hill burner.
