Ive got a 16ft aluminum boat w/poly 7'wide n 26in side w/a 180hp lycoming spinnin a sensitec wood that says 66TxI38 is that a good prop size or should i go bigger for a little more push, i could clear another 3inches or so on each side without havin to change the cage

Sensenich page rates there 68x38 as a 180-200hp prop

a 68x38 would give more push and if you could fit a 72" prop that would help but probably need to back down on the pitch to something like 30-32-34

the longer the prop the more push you get form it

Not only is that a big boat, but with the 26" sides and the poly you're gonna want more than a 66" prop. I would suggest modiying the cage a little and running a 72" minimum.
