Prop update Warp Drive

Thought id give an after pic. After I had a client lose a beverage can through the prop I patched up and made the rest of duckseason. I sent off the blades to Daryl at Warp Drive up in IOWA and had them back in less that 2 weeks in new condition. Great work and a great turnaround. Ready for another ten years.(baring any unforseen cans)

what was the cost per blade, I have some bad ones, not sure if I should repair or just get a new 2 blade, thanks, Lee

Redid all 5 for 370 plus shipping. I have the invoice around here some wheres. He had told me up front it would be any where from 50 to 80 a blade. I was considering a new set up as well, but 400 vs 1500... I ll live witht the high pitch for a little longer.

From the pic you posted, it doesn't look like the blades have a nickel leading edge....is that optional? For that matter, is the nickel leading edge necessary?

I'll be having my blades sent off for refinishing also, probably in a few weeks. The dry season is upon us down here in South Florida.....

nickel edge is there... they put some type of paint or coating on it... when pitching i managed to scrape a bit off with the protractor...seeon the lower blade tip on the right side of pic

the edge is needed...water, rain, etc protection
