can someone tell me the right prop i need for my boat? it's a 12' fiberglass hull with a 355 sbc. and iam going to pick-up a 2to1 geardrive in a couple of weeks, and was hoping someone knows a good prop to run. right now i only have money to buy a wood prop.

There are a couple of wood props in the class. 78in should work good for you. I am not good with wood props maybe someone could tell you what pitch you need. if you run a carbon prop a 80in falcon or r blade will work good for you. sounds like fun good luck with your build!

Thanks! Yea the boats alot of fun, I'am running it DD right now and can run the hill fair but I have to get a little speed up to get out of the water.

Since it's a 12ft glass hull is it a Callosa, Bandit , Kenedy or Star Type of hull or a Cotton mouth or Apachee stlye. 12FT ain't big for a gearbox so if it doesn't have a wide bottom you better look into a 76 or 78 max for a prop dia or she will roll pretty bad if it's a Gore or something narrow it will be a hand full!

Waterthunder, I'am not sure what make the boat is. I talked to a guy who has a hull almost like it and he said his was a combee, mine is 7'6" wide, I'll measure the bottom in the morning I know it's narrower. But the guy I got it from had a sbc & gearbox on it. Let you know for sure, I was thinking about a 76"x50".

If it's 7.6 you will be fine. I see it's a 1 seater, remember the more weight you put in that boat the more torque roll you will have. looks like a fun lil boat.

Thanks for the info, Yea I think it will workout ok. It is a fun boat, I traded a cam for the hull. So I have about $168 in the hull and built the Metalworks myself. Paid more for the moter then anything else. If you look at the main page the list of videos"One Rank Stephull" That's the Guy I bought the motor from, If it,s the same person his name is Mike, Great guy!
